Instruction and Assessment

On Monday, October 11, 2015 parents received a notice of a hearing regarding proposed updates to our Sex Education/Health curriculum.

This includes updating videos and including lessons about lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning (LGBTQ) students. By law, we are required to host this hearing so that community members can ask questions and provide feedback prior to a final recommendation being made. The Sex Education Advisory Board will take all of this information and work to finalize a recommendation.  This recommendation will be presented to the Board of Education, tentatively set for Tuesday, January 19, 2016, for their approval.

If you have questions, please call 734-759-6021.
